DDS believes that having an active social life encourages well being. For this reason DDS offers an array of social activities for its adult participants and programs for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Brave Art Studio:

DDS believes that each person is an artist, limited only by the boundaries of his/her imagination. Brave Art is about enjoying the process of creating art together while celebrating the creative abilities of all. The studio is a place where artists of all abilities create together for the purpose of achieving new heights through art & the creative process.

The Studio meets regularly on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants and artists must register in advance. A nominal fee of $2 per person per session is collected at each meeting.
